USB flash drives and memory cards are no magnetic storage media and will therefore not be damaged when they are exposed to static magnetic fields.
Will the power of the magnets weaken over time?
Under normal circumstances the magnets retain their magnetism almost indefinitely. Only heat above 80 °C or other strong magnetic fields (strong electromagnets for example) can damage the magnets.

How heavy can a knife be to keep it on the Magnetic Driftwood Boards?
The magnets are strong. For example, you can hang a hammer on the boards. In the case of knives, the weight of the knives is not the only deciding factor. It also depends on the type of knife and on the composition (alloy) of the metal. A thin blade with a very heavy handle can be problematic by hanging the blade on the driftwood board. So far, however, all the knives we have tested have been kept.
